Welcome to Vesonus ("Vesonus", "we", "us", or "our").
Vesonus is an online platform that facilitates collaboration between artists and music producers and provides tools related to music uploads, quality control, release preparation, distribution workflows, analytics, and payments.
By accessing or using Vesonus, you agree to these Terms of Service ("Terms"). If you do not agree, you may not use the platform.
2. Eligibility
You must be at least 18 years old to use Vesonus.
By creating an account, you confirm that:
- You are legally able to enter into agreements
- The information you provide is accurate and up to date
3. Accounts
To access Vesonus features, you must create an account.
You are responsible for:
- Maintaining the confidentiality of your login credentials
- All activity occurring under your account
Vesonus may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms or applicable laws.
4. User Content
Users may upload music files, metadata, and related materials ("User Content").
Ownership
- You retain full ownership of all intellectual property rights in your User Content.
- Vesonus does not claim ownership of any music, recordings, compositions, or creative works uploaded to the platform.
License to Vesonus
By uploading content, you grant Vesonus a limited, non-exclusive, royalty-free license to host, process, analyze, and display your content solely for the purpose of operating and improving the Vesonus service.
5. Platform Role and Disclaimer
Vesonus is not a record label, publisher, or rights owner.
- Vesonus does not acquire ownership or exclusive rights to any music
- Vesonus does not guarantee commercial success, streams, placements, or revenue
- Vesonus acts as a technology and service platform facilitating collaboration, releases, and payments
Any creative or contractual relationship between artists and producers exists independently of Vesonus, except where explicitly governed by platform workflows.
6. Royalties, Fees, and Revenue Splits
Vesonus operates on a platform royalty model.
Vesonus Platform Royalty
- Vesonus deducts a platform royalty ranging from 10% to 30%, depending on the user's active subscription plan
- This royalty is taken before any revenue is split between artists and producers
- The Vesonus royalty is used to cover platform costs, services, infrastructure, and operations
Artist and Producer Splits
- Revenue splits between artists and producers are calculated after Vesonus' platform royalty has been deducted
- Specific split percentages may vary depending on the agreement, workflow, or release setup chosen by the users
- Vesonus does not alter ownership rights as part of these splits
All applicable percentages and breakdowns are displayed transparently within the platform.
7. Payments and Subscriptions
Payments are processed via Stripe, a third-party payment provider.
- Certain features require a paid subscription
- Subscription fees are billed in advance
- Subscriptions can be cancelled at any time
- Previously paid subscription fees are non-refundable, unless required by law
Vesonus does not store full payment card details.
8. Prohibited Use
You agree not to:
- Upload content you do not have legal rights to
- Infringe copyrights or intellectual property
- Use the platform for unlawful purposes
- Attempt to bypass platform fees or payment systems
- Interfere with platform security or functionality
9. Termination
You may stop using Vesonus at any time.
Vesonus may suspend or terminate access if:
- These Terms are violated
- Required by law or regulation
- Necessary to protect the platform or other users
10. Disclaimer of Warranties
Vesonus is provided "as is" and "as available."
We do not guarantee:
- Uninterrupted or error-free operation
- Any specific financial or commercial outcomes
11. Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, Vesonus shall not be liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from the use of the platform.
12. Changes to These Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time.
Continued use of Vesonus after changes means you accept the updated Terms.
